Hi there! My name is Jenny (Yejin) Shin and I am currently based in Clifton, Virginia with a coffee loving husband and curious toddler at home. I started my photography business in 2021 after taking photos as a hobby. I want to serve others and my photography is a gift that never stops giving!
I am also an elementary special education teacher and a believer in always learning, which is one reason I’ve never stopped taking photos. That said, I adapt to whatever you and your family's' needs may be.
My approach
My process is simple. I love to getting to know you first with some questions about who you are, what you also envision, and you can even share photos that inspire you as well! During the session, I will mostly take lead with your preferences in mind. I will show you how the photos are turning out to make sure you’re content throughout and know what you’re getting. My goal is for you to not feel like you came to a photo session but to leave with fun memories and an excuse to treat yourself (and the kids) to icecream!
